We don't use item or stock numbers. We indicate the bead by its name, quantity, usually in bold type with the price at the end of the description. You'll see quantity information along with the price for the quantity. Click the Add to Cart button BELOW the item description.
We are very careful to display the most accurate colors and bead sizes. Several customers have indicated that their PCs don't seem to display the colors well. This is due (in part) to the video driver on your PC, the number of colors it can display, and the amount of memory your PC has. For example, we needed to change video drivers several times in order to get the best and most accurate color displays on our PC. Sometimes your public library's PC has a more recent video driver that does a better job of displaying colors, so we suggest you look at our photos on another PC that may be able to display the beads better. We can't issue any credit for the cost of shipping the item to you, and you must pay to ship it back to us. We want all our customers to be happy, but we need to know if you have special needs that we can satisfy! We wrap our beads very carefully. We've had just a few instances of bead breakage since we started shipping beads in 1980. That's a pretty good track record. Thanks, US Postal Service! If you receive broken beads, please initiate a claim with the USPS to get reimbursed, since all shipments are insured. USPS wants to see the condition of the box, so save that. In some cases we can replace a damaged item. Let us know within 7 days of receiving it. If it is sold out we will replace with a similar item or issue a credit not a refund. IMPORTANT--Customers Are Responsible for Accepting Their OrdersOnce we deliver your shipment to the USPS it is their responsibility to deliver it to you. Since many shipments require a signature, if you are not home when the mail carrier attempts to deliver, the carrier will leave a notice that you must go to your post office to get the package since you must sign for it. It is your responsibility to do so, and if a shipment comes back to us because you did not go to get it at the post office (a "left" shipment), we will NOT issue a refund. The USPS Priority Mail service is excellent, and they will do their best to inform you that there is a package waiting to be signed for. We do not consider a "left" package returnable. If it does come back because you failed to accept delivery, or provided wrong address, etc. we will NOT refund the cost of shipping to you AND we will deduct a restocking fee, but only if the item(s) is in resaleable condition. If item(s) are damaged or otherwise not resaleable we will NOT refund any amounts to you. What Our Customers SayOur customers are thrilled with the quality and prices of our beads. International Shipping is via air mail parcel post or Federal Express. The cost of the shipment depends on weight and destination. We add a $8.00 international handling fee, and there is a $75.00 minimum for international orders. If Your Check is ReturnedSorry but we must ask you to pay a $25.00 returned check fee if your check "bounces". We will wait for about 10-12 calendar days after we deposit the check to make sure the check is good. If your check is returned, we will then accept a bank money order or postal money order as payment, but we will NOT resubmit the check. We will mail the returned check to you after you have met your obligations. Items priced at $10.00 or less are FINAL SALE. No Offers on ApprovalWe do NOT ship anything on approval. Since the pictures and descriptions of the beads are as accurate as possible, down to the millimeter, we rely on you to contact us with your questions before you place your order. In the 15 years we have been selling beads by mail, we have had fewer than a dozen returns. In the mail order business, that is a phenomenally good track record, the equivalent of no returns. Sale Items Not ReturnableSale items are not returnable. It's a "Final Sale". This includes red lettered special prices. Finished jewelry is not returnable. This includes Kenneth Jay Lane, vintage/antique jewelry, designer jewelry.
