Excited to participate in a panel at BATTERY TECHNOLOGIES, where I'll discuss innovations in #bms, focusing on #data, #cloud, and #modeling. I'll be exploring how the industry is embracing this digital world to enhance performance, safety, and reliability in automotive #batteries. Looking forward to engaging with other pioneers, like Dr. Jelena Andric and Damir Cindrić, in the field!

How can we make batteries more sustainable? 🔋 🌱 ...In the quest for sustainable #batterytechnology, improving #batterylife is just as vital as enhancing production efficiency. NIO recognizes this as a strong business advantage, particularly in the context of #batteryswapping. Hence, NIO is leading this effort, focusing on innovations that prolong #lifetime, driving the entire #batteryindustry towards more #sustainability. NIO recently announced a strategic partnership with CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited), the global leader in cell manufacturing, to jointly develop batteries with extended lifetime. This collaboration is centered on advancing SEI technology and other breakthroughs, directly addressing the primary mechanisms of battery degradation.NIO's commitment to extending battery lifetime goes beyond material innovations. Leveraging #cloud capabilities, NIO is implementing operating strategies regarding state of charge, temperature, and power, both at swap stations and with users, to enhance battery lifetime in the field. Excited to be part of this innovative journey!

Are swapping stations becoming important players in the electric grid?..Indeed, our battery swap station in Denmark is now providing frequency regulation service to the grid. It is the first proof of how swap stations will make a big difference in a world of renewable energy.Undoubtedly, swapping offers great convenience for vehicle users. I am sure that without disadvantages in the swapping experience, these stations will increasingly interact with the electric grid in the future. They are capable of providing services such as peak load regulation and more. At the same time, this interaction can be economically successful, further promoting an exit from fossil energy sources.#RenewableEnergy #Sustainability #BatterySwapping #SmartGrid #Innovation

#promotion #doktor #ev
