Versatile spear-thrower, effective against both melee and air units. Can learn Troll Regeneration which greatly enhances health regeneration. Can be upgraded to Troll Berserker, which increases health pool by 100 and unlocks the Berserk ability. The disenfranchised Trolls of northern Lordaeron have once again pledged their savage services to the Orcish Horde. These cunning warriors are trained from birth to hunt, track and trap the most dangerous beasts in the wild. In times of war, however, Troll Headhunters turn their mighty spears upon the enemies of the Horde without hesitation. Capable of hurling their deadly spears at distant enemies, Troll Headhunters provide invaluable cover fire for the other warriors of the Horde. Once you have researched the Berserker upgrade, Troll Headhunters become Troll Berserkers, which gives it ~27% more health and gives it an ability to increase its attack speed by 50% for a short time. Troll Headhunters have historically had poor attack range as one of its drawbacks but this was changed in patch 1.30.0 and now headhunters have a respectable attack range of 550, which is comparable to units like Crypt Fiends and Riflemen with the Long Rifles upgrade.
